Becoming a trusted business partner takes time, presence, caring and a genuine investment in a client's organizational growth and long-term success. Methods and a powerful thinking approach are key to empower clients and co-elevate a client's business/leadership. Critical thinking, active listening, mindful communication and interdisciplinary thinking make a difference in providing recommendations, creating experiences and transfering knowledge.

Expert embodiment is a critical strategic framework with two methods: (1) Critical thinking and (2) active listening. The value experts bring to businesses can be divided into knowledge transfer value to guide and grow a business (e.g. expertise, objectivity, insights and new perspectives) and network/collaboration value to promote higher-impact innovation and more creative solutions.
1. Critical Thinking
As a critical thinker I raise vital questions, gather and evaluate information, observe and reflect, and communicate effectively. In fact, balance critical thinking with creative thinking and a synthesizing mind.
2. Active Listening
As an active listener I seek to understand the meaning and intent in a communication process. I respond thoughtfully, maintain dignity and respect, and reflect on what was being said and not said. It enriches the quality of an interaction.
3. Mindful Communication
As a mindful communicator I remain open-minded, be fully present, detach with care and relate to others in a compassionate way. I know the difference between intention and attention and be aware of how to choose my words / use vocabulary.
4. Visualization 5-5-5
As a visual thinker I use visualization (techniques) as a practice for creating a mental visual image when it comes to understanding and achieving certain goals. It allows me to direct my thoughts and stay focused--as if it is already true.
